If you are not able to join this year, please sign up for our festival vendor waitlist for next year, or our planned Mid-Autumn Festival.

What we’re looking for

The festival organizers want to avoid having too many vendors selling the same items. Please see the list of food items that our current food vendors are selling. Items in bold have enough vendors selling that item, so any other vendors attempting to sell that item will probably be denied.

We suggest that vendors list the food item in detail to have a better chance of being accepted. If you put "coffee" and another vendor puts "cà phê phin crème brûlée", the second one will look more attractive to the festival panel.

The Approval Process

• Vendor (“VENDOR”) must complete the Vendor Application, read and agree with this AGREEMENT (link below), and submit payment before being considered for EVENT.

• CPALSS shall review all submissions on a rolling basis and will inform VENDOR within 5 business days of their status.  The basis for approval of Vendor Application is set forth below.

• Approved vendors shall be notified by email along with additional instructions or documentation requirements.

• Denied vendors shall be notified by email and be issued a full refund of their payment. There is no other refund of fees available.

Bases for denial of Vendor Application

• VENDOR acknowledges and agrees that the 2026 Lunar New Year Tet Festival (“EVENT”) seeks to further, enhance, promote cultural awareness of various ethnic communities in the greater Sacramento region and to celebrate the 2026 Lunar New Year Tet holidays and Asian-Cajun food themes. Preference shall be given to VENDORS based on earliest date of payment of application fee, to avoid duplication of food offerings, and to avoid foods that do not fit with the Asian-Cajun food themes.

• VENDOR acknowledges that the following business or organizations will conflict with CPALSS partnership agreement with the Cosumnes Community Services District (“District”) and will have their Vendor Application denied:

  1. A company whose business is substantially derived from the sale of adult-oriented products or services including tobacco products; drugs; pornography; firearms; dating services.

  2. An adult-oriented business, which includes any business where employees or patrons expose specified anatomical areas or engage in specified sexual activities, or any business which offers to its patrons services, entertainment or materials characterized by an emphasis on matter depicting, exposing, describing, discussing, or relating to specified sexual activities or specified anatomical areas. Adult oriented business does not include bona fide medical establishments operated by licensed and registered medical personnel for the treatment of patients.

  3. Entities that practice or promote discrimination in employment practices or services on the basis of race, religion, national origin, disability, age, gender, pregnancy, (including childbirth and related medical conditions), marital status, gender identity, medical condition, genetic information, military or veteran status, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic under applicable law.

  4. A religious or political organization.

  5. A business or other entity engaged in any stage of negotiation with the District unless a contract is directly linked to a support opportunity.

  6. A business or other entity engaged in litigation with the District.

• Prohibited Sales Items. VENDOR is prohibited from displaying or selling any of the following goods:

  1. Alcoholic beverages

  2. Illicit drugs

  3. Cigarettes, cannabis or vaping products

  4. Firecrackers, fireworks, firearms, weapons, and other dangerous items

  5. Vulgar, offensive, sexually explicit, or obscene materials

Frequently asked questions

I can only attend for one day, can I pay for only one day?

There is no partial attendance fee or discount. The fee is set for the weekend, even if you choose to attend for one day.
